It is exceptionally soft!

Guanaco Fiber

Guanacos are a member of the camelid family being most closely related to the llama. Adult males can weigh anything from 220-330 pounds and the adult female weighs 220-270 pounds. They have a gestation period of 345 days. The guanaco has a double coat consisting of guard hairs that keeps moisture and debris out, and a finer undercoat. Guanacos originate in the Andes Mountains in South America.
Mountain Shadow Farm's guanaco fiber is imported from farm raised British guanacos. Our fiber is for sale at $30.00 per ounce.
